Floral Shorts (Antigua Part I)

As I'm typing this, the temperature here in New York is 17 degrees. The temperature in Antigua right now is 81 degrees. Needless to say, I am certainly missing the beautiful Antiguan weather and the sun and the beach. I find it much easier to dress for the warm weather, as there is more of a variety of outfits to choose from. For me, winter tends to consist of mostly pants and long sleeves (A LOT of sweaters to keep me warm). So, since I don't want to freeze my butt off wearing tank top dresses and shorts now that I'm back in New York, the least I can do is share some pictures with you guys :).

I bought these shorts while Christmas Shopping for my boyfriend. I was on the Neiman Marcus Last Call website purchasing a pair of Bruno Magli dress shoes for my boyfriend (here, if you're interested or in the market for men's dress shoes), when I decided to just quickly browse the women's sale section. I came across both these shorts and a dress in this same print. I was really drawn to the bright colors and big flowers. I decided on the shorts, as I wanted something I could dress up or down, and I am so glad I did! These shorts are lightweight, super comfy, cute, and versatile- exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend them to everyone and- FYI- they're on sale right now for a great price, so don't pass them up!
