I am Summer's biggest fan, so I always have a hard time adjusting to the change of seasons around this time of year. I'm just a lover of sunshine, warmth, the beach, vacations, etc. However, this past weekend, I finally decided it was time to fully embrace the Fall season. I wore my first pair of boots of the season on Sunday (and another pair today, GASP!), bought some pumpkin bread/muffin mix, bought two Fall scented candles and a sweater, and hung some Halloween decorations. Now that I have finally come to terms with the fact that Summer is, indeed, over, I realized what a lovely season Fall really is. While all the green and blooming flowers are, no doubt, pretty to look at, there is really no better season for beautiful scenery than the Fall. The colors may not be the brightest, but you certainly see much more color in nature on a Fall day than on any given day in the Summer, Spring, or Winter. So, today, as I am writing this post and sitting here with pumpkin muffins in the oven, and an apple pumpkin Yankee Candle lit next to me, I am completely content with that fact that it is Fall.
