Transition Pieces

Many people move all their Summer clothes elsewhere when the weather starts to cool down to make room for all of their Fall and Winter clothes. I, on the other hand, try to find ways to wear my Summer pieces as it starts to get colder. The past few days in New York have been teetering around 70, so that's made this transition period a lot easier.

Shirt: Old Navy (similar) | Skirt: Helmut Lang (similar 25% right now!)
Shoes: B by Brian Atwood (here in grey) | Wallet: Michael Kors (similar)

During the summer months, I would wear this asymmetrical skirt with with a tank top and strappy sandals. For fall, I decided to pair the skirt with a white cotton long sleeve shirt and my suede Brian Atwood shoes. Although they're open toe, the suede makes them perfect for the cooler, but not yet cold, weeks. This outfit is perfect for a date during the Fall, either during the day or at night with a coat.
